Around this time last year, we were saying goodbye to Mallory, our very first employee. And during this time of reflection, we've been looking back on all the changes (both positive and not so positive), that we've experienced over the years, as we've grown The Social Gourmet to what it is today.
Here's the original post from June 14, 2019: "I firmly believe that people come into your life for a reason. Seven months ago I set out to find an "Organizational Rock Star" to run The Social Gourmet office. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted.... And then Mallory walked into her interview and changed everything. She was NOT what I wanted (it's ok, she knows!) but there was something about her that made me sure I needed her as a part of my team. She is young, she is enthusiastic, and she reminds me of myself in so many ways. That may be a compliment, depending on your point of view. 😉
Today is Mallory's last day with our team, and we are thrilled to have had her as a integral part of The Social Gourmet, if even for a short time. She took a position that only existed in my brain, and turned it into a fully-functioning Office Manager role, and we feel privileged to have had her with us.
Mallory, I speak for not only myself, but our clients, community members, and business associates, when I say that we wish you nothing but success in your new career, and we will truly miss you." Still miss ya darlin'. 🤗
