Whenever I'm in Jax Beach and I'm completely drunk and want pizza. There's one place I haven't been kicked out of yet. That's Biggies, a small hip joint connected to a laundromat. You walk in and see instantly the NYC vibrant feel. There's a painted portrait of the popular rapper Biggie Smalls on the wall, with graffiti and New York slogans all over the place. The place has this grungy dark hip kind of feel to it, and I think it's pretty cool and unique.
I ordered my slices, 'Buffalo Soldier' and the 'Benny Blanco'. They have the most clever names for their pizzas like 'Meat me in NYC' and my personal favorite, 'Jamaican Me Krazy' They offer a varied selection of calzones, heros, garlic knots.
The slices are huge, you fold it up and eat them like a New Yorker. Me, on the other hand, I like to stick my pizza slice in the air, and dangle it closer to my mouth, and have my tongue stick out as I try to grab a bite. This lady threaten to call the police on me.
Okay, Biggies Pizza on Jax Beach. If I have to give it a rating based on different type of pizza toppings from anchovies being the worse and pepperoni being the best. I would give it an Italian sausage. It's solid, good, and gets the job done especially when you're drunk and you have no pants on. True story. Come out, try this authentic NY pizza slice and get a load of laundry done next door. Pizza and household chores in one trip. I hope you enjoyed this 'completely useless but funny' restaurant review: quarantine edition.
