All people reach towards the Light. Sometimes, when we reach, we collide with one another, either out of clumsiness or because of our inability to notice anything other than the Light. When we collide, conflicts are born. These conflicts are meant to be ended by us realizing that what makes all of us reach in the first place is one and the same. That realization is the essence of Love. That’s why we need it in our world. Seeing what has been happening back in the US has been heartbreaking. It’s evident that we’re being turned against one another and that the world is only getting crazier. All I’ll say is that I sincerely hope that everyone back home is staying safe and sound, and I encourage everyone to remember that when it feels like hell on earth is near, to not give in to the negativity, to not fake positivity when it’s simply not there, but to focus on compassion. People are brought up to show that we’re all perfectly fine, but at our cores, most of us are vulnerable, trying to make sense of the world around us, trying to find meaning and purpose in our lives, and needing to be seen and understood and loved. As a wise man once said, most of us are “broken children trapped in grown-up bodies, imitating adult lives.” There are also those who live as if they are one of us, but take advantage of our vulnerability for personal gain, so being gullible is a “no-no” in our life. However, I believe that compassion and wisdom are compatible and that one of the highest forms of strength is achieved when we reach the point of knowing the ways and games of the world, yet keeping our worldview full of care for our fellow humans, rather than becoming bitter. That’s how we prevent fear from being weapon used against us. That’s how we defeat racism, sexism, hatred of various religious or ethnic groups, homophobia, transphobia, and any other phobia of those who reach towards the Light differently than we do. If a life of Love is something that you strive for and refuse to be indoctrinated into fear, hatred, and judgement, leave the words “I choose Love” in the comments, in whatever language you prefer. Let’s show each other just how not alone we are.
All my Love,
