Here’s what a typical (successful) journey looks like:
1. START. No progress is made without action.
2. Be patient. Progress is made at different rates for each of us.
3. Start to see progress. Adherence to your program allows you to begin to reap the benefits of your work.
4. Plateau. The human body adapts to nearly every input we can throw at it. At this point, your coach should make adjustments.
5. Start to see progress again.
6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 until you have reached your desired result or set a new goal.
Adherence. Patience. Progress. Adaptation. Adjustment. Repeat.
